Jean Silva Tore Dew Dober apart in the short term in UFC Denver last July
Jean Silva achieved his second victory in the Octagon at UFC 303 during the International Fight Week, but it followed his impressive exhibition against Charles Jourdain that made people really enthusiastic.
After Mike Davis withdrew due to an injury, Drew Dober was left behind without an opponent for the Denver card with which he could fight in his current house.
Silva got informed in two weeks and went up to lightweight after missing weight for his featherweight collision with Jourdan in Las Vegas.
The Brazilian was in good shape last July and produced a fight of the night game with Dober that was stopped in the third round.
He landed a number of devastating and creative elbows in the fight that split the American open right above his right eye and when the cut remained worse, Herb Dean waved the fight with the following advice from the doctor.
Dober spoke about the cut in his interview after the fight with Paul Felder, where he praised his opponent to get on the record.
“Yes, I have this Neanderthal eyebrows, they cut open very easily, but I am talking about both Jean Silva and me, this is what I mean as a warrior. He took it for two weeks, I will fight against everyone, this is what fighting is all about. I don't care who, when and where. We throw hands and we wage war. '
Jean Silva returns to UFC Seattle Looking for his fourth consecutive UFC victory
Despite his success in his recent switch to lightweight, Jean Silva will return to featherweight for his fourth outing since he signed at the UFC.
The Brazilian is back this weekend in the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington, where he will record Melsik Baghdasaryan on 22 February.
Baghdasaryan in Armenia went 2-1 in the Octagon, but the 33-year-old has not fought anymore since his decision in July 2023 Tucker Lutz Wint.
After canceled fights against William Gomis, Hyder Amil and Muhammad Naimov, he will be welcomed in the cage by one of the most exciting additions to the selection in recent years.
