UFC star claims Conor McGregor ‘destroyed’ career of opponent he never fought

A top UFC light weight thinks that Conor McGregor has caused more damage to the career of Michael Chandler than Paddy Pimblett.

735 days. That is how long Michael Chandler was between his fighting with Dustin Poirier and Charles Oliveira. Chandler spent a large part of that time on 'The Ultimate Fighter 31' coaching and preparation for Conor McGregor, which he then had to fight.

But the long-awaited McGregor payment day never got through for Chandler, where the Irishman withdrew from their planned fight on UFC 303 last summer due to a toe injury.

McGregor vs. Chandler would not be moved with Chandler who ultimately decides to continue.

'Iron' fought and lost to Charles Oliveira from a two -year resignation and the most recently Paddy Pimblett on UFC 314, where he was ready in the third round.

Talk about a bad luck.

“Many people are going to throw me away because I throw Michael Chandler away,” Micano told me the money podcast on the show.

“But in reality, McGregor destroyed his career, Bro.

“I think that was the fault of F ****** McGregor.

“Two years without fighting, waiting, waiting, waiting … plus at his age, you know?”

Renato Moicano: 'You can't count on Conor McGregor'

A 33-fighter veteran of the game, Chandler is not becoming younger with his crooked version against Paddy Pimblett that shows it.

Chandler kept it longer than he needed for McGregor, the biggest fight of his career, but having said that the American contributed to achieving UFC 303 last summer without an injury.

McGregor's withdrawal against Chandler was a career first in the UFC. The superstar has not been booked since then to fight.

“You can't count on McGregor,” said Micano.

“He's talking about the F ****** President of Ireland. Imagine that …”
