UFC star fights back tears while being introduced by MMA legend Bruce Buffer

One hunter in UFC Seattle met the intensity of Bruce Buffer by getting almost overwhelmed by emotion.

The Fight Night event of the UFC on 22 February contained a number of impressive highlights, but Jean Silva may have taken first place.

His first round knockout about Melsik Baghdasaryan caught the attention of the fans in the Climate Pledge Arena, together with the attracting of some attention from Bryce Mitchell.

He has already been incredibly impressive since he signed at the UFC in 2023 with Silva who defeated Drew Dober and Charles Jourdain in two weeks in two weeks.

His last outing was another violent exhibition, but before the opening sounded sounded, he had to fight his emotions during the introductions.

Jean Silva holds back tears in the introduction of Bruce Buffer before he receives a gift

It is a special moment for every UFC hunter to receive the complete introduction of Bruce Buffer, because the octagon veteran voice has become such an iconic part of the sport.

UFC Seattle was not the first time that Jean Silva experienced his name by Buffer in Lichten, but for some reason this specific ceremony met an emotional nerve.

Before he went outside and stopped in the Baghdasaryan opening round to earn a performance of the night bonus, Silva hardly managed to keep it together while stood by the breast with the announcer.

After their intense exchange before the fight started, Buffer Silva gave a gift for the candidate for featherweight to remember that moment.

In addition to taking his fourth consecutive victory in the Octagon and a bonus, the 28-year-old claimed a trophy in the form of Buffer's Cue Card.

What is the next step for Jean Silva?

In four UFC fights, Jean Silva is nothing but all-action after he produced a finish every time he stepped into the Octagon.

He and his colleague 'Fighting Nerds' teammates Carlos Prates and Caio Borralho is now absolutely flying and Silva has held that momentum in 2025.

It is difficult to deny that the Brazilian deserves a step in opposition next time and that can and must be against a ranked opponent if the opportunity occurs.

Bryce Mitchell On #13 is a fight that is already selling itself, but the winner or loser of Dan Ige vs Sean Woodson on UFC 314 in April can be another option.
