The coach who was dropped off last year by ranked UFC light weight Benoit Saint-Denis did not stop his split and the ability of his ex-fighter.
Saint-Denis looked as if he was on a fast track of the 155-pound ladder of the UFC after winning his first five fights in the division, including a memorable head-kick knockout against Matt Fre clola in Madison Square Garden.
The Frenchman gave that result a shot to break the title against TOP-Fijf Competender and former interim champion Dustin Poirier at the beginning of 2024. But after a strong opening round, Saint-Denis was eliminated by Poirier on UFC 299 in Miami.
The brutal result brought about changes in the camp of 'God of War', when he left coach Daniel Woirin after five years. Unfortunately, the split was far from friendly.

Benoit Saint-Denis laid by ex-coach who places him well 'under' other hunters he trained
Woirin has coached some of the best names to have adorned the Octagon, including Goat -Competent Anderson Silva, Lyoto Machida and Dan Henderson.
Although he had hoped to wear Saint-Denis to similar success in the largest stage in MMA, the defeat is to make that journey short, and it seems that Woirin is still not about the decision of his ex-fighter.
During a recent performance on the Biomécanique podcast, the coach Saint-Denis closed for the way he gave news about his decision and trivialized his skills compared to other hunters he trained.
“Our split was purely about money, not about skills,” said Woirin (translation via @mmarena_).
“If you are dumped via an SMS, well … a phone call, it hurts.
“Benoit is really among all those boys (Silva, Machida and Henderson),” Woirin continued. “He is very well known, but he doesn't keep a candle for them. Maybe he will get there, we hope for him.”
Saint-Denis was destroyed by Renato Moicano in the first fight with his new team, but the French star has since been reflected by newcomer Kyle Prepolec on UFC 315 last May.
Benoit Saint-Denis's friend responds to 'poisonous' ex-coach with a different side of the story
Although Saint-Denis has no comments on Woirin's latest comments, it was not long before a friend and fellow hunter spoke on his behalf.
Former brave CF champion and current Ares FC star Amin Ayoub has realized his nickname 'Felcess' by hitting back to coach Wirin.
The 25-5 Welterweight accused the experienced Trainer of threatening not to show up Corner Saint-Denis for a fight, unless his wage was raised just a week earlier.
“Toxic behavior of (a) ex,” wrote the French Jager Amin Ayoub on X. “But he does not want to explain that he threatens his hunter only 1 week before his fight to again negotiate an amount or not to appear in his corner
“No, life is hard, sometimes tell the truth, don't you think?”
