On this day in 2022, UFC Bantamweight Adrian Yanez prayed with a karmic knockout against a hunter who had rubbed many people in the wrong direction.
The leading promotion of Mixed Martial Arts organized a UFC fighting evening in Austin, Texas three years ago. The event was covered with the victory of Josh Emmett over Calvin Kattar in their five -round featherweight battle.
There were a number of other remarkable versions, from Roman Dolidze's Fak breaking knock-out against Kyle Dauus to Ricardo Ramos' newest spinning back elbow finish.
But there were no performance near the level of widespread praise that Yanez reaches with his triumph.

Adrian Yanez brutally eliminated controversial hunter Tony Kelley at UFC Austin
Yanez was given the task of opening the main map in his home in poor blood up errors against Tony Kelley.
Kelley was not a popular figure in the MMA community because of his comments while he was turning his girlfriend Andrea Lee in her defeat against Viviane Araujo.
After he claimed that Lee had been picked up, Kelley tried to encourage her by saying: “That's what they are going to do, they are dirty F – Brazilians, they are going to play so much.”
As if Yanez was not motivated enough to make his opponent pay for those unsavory comments, Kelley also hit the 31-year-old by him as a “wish version” of Jorge Masvidal.
That led to a heated faceoff fight between the couple at the ceremonial weightings. While Yanez then had to be reluctant, he could let his hands fly on Fight Night.
And he did this in a destructive way and brutally destroyed Kelley with strikes in the very first round. An uncomfortable intervention -attempt by referee Kerry Hatley even allowed the fan to take some extra photos on his affected enemy.
Kelley was then released from the UFC and has not fought since.
UFC staff apparently looked forward to the Karmic Knockout loss of Tony Kelley
If there was some doubt about whose side was the majority of the fan base, the immediate reactions to the first round of YANEZ on social media could generate that.
“And they (prayed) were answered.”
“The gods have answered.”
“Nice destruction.”
“The best example of 'chat s – is touched'.”
“Everyone liked that.”
“So satisfying.”
And they were answered

And it was apparently not just the fans who were satisfied with the result.
During an interview with the Allstar, it was revealed that even members of the UFC staff had insisted on Ko Kelley, because they had also had bad experiences with Shreveport.
“It's a great moment for me,” said Yanez. “Man, that was a lot of emotion. That was a lot of raw emotion, that I just wanted f – that guy, man.
“I don't like that guy. I really don't like that guy, man. Not just because of the comments he said, but the stuff that is in the course of him, and I heard a lot of things about him. It is something else when I go through the corridors and the UFC staff tells me to f – him.”
Yanez also claimed that he was thanked on a large scale for the violent sent of Kelley.
“That was the first man I had (people) like,” F – that guy up. Take the S – out of him. ” And there have been so many thanks for you to do him that everyone is from: “Thank you, man, f-.” Those are also the nicest people in the world, man, so it means a little more.
