The MMA success of Manel Kape about several prominent promotions is mainly due to its elite striking and one-punch knockout power. But to compete with the best in the world, KAPE had to control the basic principles of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, but it was not a straight and narrow path.
KAGE will put the 17-Fight streak of Asu Almabayev this weekend this weekend in the main event of UFC Vegas 103. This is Kape's first career UFC Main Event after victories in five of his previous six fights.
To give Almabayev his only UFC opposition this weekend at UFC Vegas 103, KARE may have to use a well-completed style. Kape's learning process was a dramatic change of his first impressions of BJJ.

Kape's family roots are in boxing, after his father has previously won a world title in Manel's life. KaTe's parents initially did not support his MMA ambitions and tried to persuade their son to pursue a football career, which they at the time considered a clearer career path.
But after Kape eventually convinced his parents to support his dreams, he had to learn the ins and outs of Grijp to go with his strong boxing base. When Kape was a teenager, his best friend of BJJ training pulled him over to end his grab.
In a recent performance on the MightyCast -Podcast, Kape explained his crooked view of BJJ before he hit the mats.

Kape's perception changed rapidly when he understood the importance of wrestling, even from a fundamental position, when starting an MMA career. His first role created an obsession to learn the ground angle of MMA, which ultimately produced his current success in the cage.
Manel Kape could jump in the title shot debate with UFC Vegas 103 Victory
Kape has a lot on the line this weekend at UFC Vegas 103. After an impressive victory over Bruno Silva in UFC Tampa in December, KAPE came one step closer to a potential rematch with UFC Flyweight title holder Alexandre Pantoja for the belt.
Kape was originally supposed to be confronted against Brandon Royval on UFC Vegas 103 before Royval withdrew due to health problems. He also achieves a victory over the most recent challenger of the flightweight title, Kai Asakura, during their stints in Rizin.
Almabayev will continue this weekend with the strapping of the flight weight Ladder after taking the short notice match against KAPE. Almabayev earned the most recent victories over Matheus Nicolau and Jose Johnson.
If Kape's fight with Almabayev comes to the Canvas this weekend, don't be surprised if KARE deserves his first entry victory since 2018.
