UFC Vegas 106 star Michael Morales aims to ‘shut up’ top welterweight after alleged incident at the UFC PI

Michael Morales has a man in his visor after a dominant victory over UFC Vegas 106.

There is a new name in the Welterweight title mix, and his name is Michael Morales. In his first career UFC Main Event Booking, Morales achieved former title finer Gilbert Burns on Saturday with a first round to stay unbeaten in his young MMA career.

Morales is one of the many young stars as part of the new movement that catches up the Welterweight Division of the UFC. Carlos Prates, Shavkat Rakhmonov and Morales are a few names to watch in the Welterweight Title Mix for the coming years.

After winning the biggest victory of his fighting career, Morales wants a chance for one of the best contenders in the division, who is said to be able to be able to do with several of his teammates at the UFC PI.

Michael Morales focuses on Ian Machado Garry after the first round at UFC Vegas 106

In a recent appearance on the Ariel Helwani show after UFC Vegas 106, Morales was asked who he then wants to fight and did not hesitate to focus on Ian Machado Garry.

“Ian Garry, I want to beat him up, I don't like him,” said Morales.

“I believe he has been very disrespectful with hunters I admire, like Belal [Muhammad] or [Neil] Magny. They don't deserve not to be respected. I think he talks a lot.

“Once he had some problems in the PI with some people I know, and when I found out, I wanted to see what he was doing, but he wasn't there … so I want to remain silent.”

Garry did not last long to respond to Morales' comments. A top teammate of Burns, Garry kept a close eye on what happened at UFC Vegas 106.

Garry denied every altercation with one of the teammates of Morales at the UFC Pi and was perplexed when he was asked about the statements of Morales. But Morales wants to get a chance for Garry to avenge one of his colleagues.

Ian Machado Garry responded to the personal attacks of Jack della Maddalena on his son

Garry also rubbed UFC Welterweight champion Jack della Maddalena in the wrong way in the run-up to UFC 315. On the UFC 315 Media Day, Garry's son Maddalena approached to give him some candy, to which Maddalena refused.

But Maddalena did it a few steps further after his title victory at Belal Muhammad. Maddalena wondered if Garry's son of him was in a bizarre accusation that the rounds made on social media.

Garry did not last long to respond to the personal attacks of Maddalena and called the title holder 'immature' in a recent sitdown with Ariel Helwani. Garry recently defeated Prates in UFC Kansas City and could possibly stand in line for a title shot with a different victory.

Maddalena is likely to be confronted with UFC Lightweight Champion Islam Makhachev in a super fight later this year. Makhachev will leave the lightweight belt on UFC 317, which will then be fought by Charles Oliveira and Ilia Topuria.
