Welterweight Uros Medic has overcome early adversity to flats Gilbert Urbina on UFC Vegas 109.
The first finish of UFC Vegas 109 came into the hands of a good weight that was almost just a few seconds in the fight.
Welterweights Uros Medic and Gilbert Urbina kicked things on Saturday at the UFC Vegas 109 Prelims in the Apex. It was an intriguing striker vs. Grappler -Matchup with two of the rising stars of the Welterweight Division.
Initially it seemed like a short night at the office for Medic after Urbina had almost beaten him cold.

Only eight seconds in the fight urbina caught medic with a right hand to earn a quick knockdown. But Urbina did not follow with ground and pounds, instead he chose to welcome medicine.
Urbina's decision would come back to chase him only a few seconds later. On the first round of one minute, Medic landed a brutal knee in the clinch, followed by a right-left to Urbina's Kin who stood out the first the ultimate hunter who collapsed to the canvas below.

After he had gained the victory, Medic admitted to Daniel Cormier in his interview after the fight that he saw 'lights' after Urbina had dropped him early. Fortunately, Medic was able to quickly recover from the large punch of Urbina to earn a brutal highlight.
Med Medic bounced back after a KO loss for Punahele Soriano in his most recent fight at UFC Vegas 101. He never fought against a decision, wins or loses, in his MMA career through 14 professional fights.
In the meantime, the UFC schedule place of Urbina has been questioned after another disappointing performance at UFC Vegas 109. He lost to Charles Radtke in February 2024, his most recent outing.
UFC Vegas 109 started with 'terrible' split decision scorecards
Earlier on the UFC Vegas 109-Prelims, the map started with a leading sprout decision between Cody Brunagee and Eric Mcconico. Despite the fact that Brundage McCconica statistically worked in two of the three rounds, Mcconico ran away with a split decision victory that makes fans astonished by the result.
It was McConico's first UFC victory after a brutal debut loss for Nursulton Ruziboev in UFC Seattle earlier this year. In the meantime, Brunge is now Winless in four of his last five fights, including an entry defeat against Bo Nickal on UFC 300.
