Islam Makhachev is the best pound-for-pound hunter in the UFC, but that did not stop allegations that he dives Ilia Topuria.
Ilia Topuria has left its UFC -Fedweight title about the promise of a title match with Islam Makhachev, who went up a weight class to face the champion.
However, that fight still has to take place, despite the fact that Topuria teases the collision with Makhachev, who thinks Arman Tsarukyan or Justin Gaethje will earn more the world title competition than the former Federweight champion.
This has led to Topuria Makhachev of accusing him to dive, a sentiment that is shared by a Veteran from the UFC.

Ben Askren believes that Dana White should strip Islam Makhachev of his title
UFC veteran Ben Askren thinks Makhachev is avoiding a fight with Topuria.
He told Daniel Cormier that Dana White should strip the UFC light weight champion of his title if he refuses to defend it against El Toro in the Octagon.
“I think Dana should just do Dana things and just have to say,” Hey, Islam, if you don't want to fight, you're stripped. ” He did that.
“If you are the champion, you would have to defend the belt against the best person, right? So Ilia hit two legends in a row. Not only beaten but also finished.
“Having someone like a tyrant or a dictator at the top, able to force problems, is a bit useful because it is not necessary to realize that if Toro is created and moving, he is the second best, and Makhachev is the first best. You let them fight, right?
“And so as number one, Makhachev, doesn't want to fight, you say,” Hey guy, you have to fight. ” And if he says no?
Daniel Cormier does not think that Ilia Topuria is the best fight for Makhachev
While Askren believes that Dana White Makhachev should punish, Cormier believes that there are better options for the champion to defend his belt than Topuria.
Cormier considers a fight against Topuria equally a step-down for featherweight for the champion, seeing it as a repeat of the victory of Makhacheve over Volakanovski at UFC 284.
“At the time, it was the number one pound-for-pound hunter in the world, Volanovski.
“After he had beaten him, it passed, well, you just turned off a featherweight. People will still say, well, you just defeated a featherweight.”
The next opponent of Makhachev still has to be announced, so Topuria could very well be the next man who challenges him in the UFC.
