Undefeated UFC star ‘fraud checked’ as he loses his 0 in brutal first round KO at UFC Vegas 103

UK striking Sam Patterson beat the previously unbeaten Danny Barlow in his own game to start the UFC Vegas 103 -head card.

The UFC Vegas 103 -head card started with an unbeaten striking suffering on his first loss in wild fashion.

Welterweights Sam Patterson and Danny Barlow Kwadraaten in a matchup between two of the brightest prospects in the division. In a rare collision between two recent graduates from Dana White's Contender Series, many eyes were on Patterson and Barlow to make a statement on the UFC Apex.

But the fight did not play as most expected.

Patterterson, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu-Aas, caught Barlow with a huge hook that encountered the undefeated star and forced him on the rear foot. Patterson put the pressure on with a flurry of bumps, including a right hand to Barlow's chin while Barlow tried to get calmness and posture back.

While Barlow collapsed into the canvas, Patterson gave up with ground-and-pound to earn his first UFC knockout win. It was his first knockout victory in general since March 2022.

Patterson earned submissions in three of his previous four matchups, including first round cranes by Yohan Laintesse and Kiefer Crosbie. He earned a place in the UFC by stitching Vinicius Cenci on DWCS in 2022.

In the meantime, Barlow suffered his loss from the first career after victories in all nine of his previous professional periods. Barlow played Josh Quinlan on UFC 298 and defeated Nikolay Veretennikov by decision after obtaining a UFC contract in 2023.

For example, fans responded to social media to Patterson's Knock -out victory.

“Barlow got fraud in the shady,” wrote a fan.

“Fraud checked by Patterson,” said another.

“Barlow has poorly checked fraud.”

UFC Vegas 103 helps after slow prelims

After a candidate 'Knock -Out of the Year', the knockout of Patterterson came through heavyweight Mario Pinto about the former NFL player Austen Lane. Before the Patterson and Pinto end, UFC Vegas 103 started with four fights that went to decisions.

UFC Vegas 103 lost two fights at Friday's official weighting. A failed weight cut by Luana Carolina canceled her planned fight with Montana de la Rosa, and Douglas Silva de Andrade was taken out of the map after roads due to a non -specified medical problem.

UFC Vegas 103 was tormented by a collision between flying weight contenders Manel Kape and Asu Almabayev.
