After winning the biggest victory of his career at UFC 313, the new Light Heavyweight Champion Vert Active is on social media.
Magomed Ankalaev apparently played as the bad guy in his reflections on the fight after beating Alex Pereira in the main event.
Although Ankalaev said that he would be open to a rematch with Pereira, there have been mixed messages at the same time.
The social media account of the champion tells a different story than what he said in interviews with Ankalaev who the will of Khalil Rountree and Jiri Procazka on X.
His behavior in the Octagon on 8 March also goes against this reaction to his potential next opponents with the Russian who is graceful in victory.

Magomed Ankalaev's series of messages on social media could suggest that he is the new heel heel of the UFC, but his actions in the T-Mobile Arena do not reflect this.

The new champion has not been free for his potential next opponents, but he posted the following message on X after the fight to show the Brazilian star again.

Magomed Ankalaev is positioned as a villain
Although Magomed Ankalaev might get more fans in his fighting and career if he played the heel, it doesn't seem like this is completely in its nature.
His respectful exchanges with Alex Pereira show that, just like the contradictory statements about his approach to defending the title.
Ankalaev's social media show him in discredit and insulting the best contenders on 205 pounds, while the words that left his mouth after the fight were very the opposite.
