Valencia could block third Arsenal offer to avoid defensive exodus

Valencia is convinced that they can keep star defender Crisphian Mosquera away this summer this summer.

The Gunners have really shown determination to sign the 21-year-old on the back of a striking La Liga campaign in 2024/25.

Los Che is aware of his value, with a release clause of € 90 million in his current contract in the Estadio Mestalla, with AC Milan and Atletico Madrid him too.

However, it is Arsenal who has been the fastest of the line, stimulated with Mikel Arteta by Mosquera's rumors indication that he wants to make the switch to North Londs.

According to the last update, Arsenal has already rejected two bids, with Mosquera rejecting the chance to extend his contract after 2026.

Valencia is willing to be pragmatic about the situation, when Mosquera pushes to leave, because the club wants to avoid him that he will continue for free next summer.

De la Liga Giants will demand around € 25 million to agree to a sale, but that is currently above Arsenal's appreciation of € 15-20 million according to the Daily Mirror.

Andrea Berta remains the key figure in the negotiations, but Valencia is willing to drag conversations to August if they feel a chance to keep him.

Further sale at Valencia, however, can turn out to be a block for Arsenal, with many eyes on Yarek Gasiorowski.

Gasiorowski was previously connected to a move to PSG from Luis Enrique, but they may have been defeated in the race because of their participation in the FIFA Club World Cup.

Reports from transfer expert Matteo Moretto claim that Valencia has reached a deal with PSV Eindhoven for the 20-year-old after they had reached Mosquera in the middle of Arsenal's urge.

The relocation includes transfer costs of € 9.5 million in Valencia, plus a 10%clause, and that can strengthen the determination to retain Mosquera.
