Valencia had a very busy winter transmission window that Max Aarons, Umar Sadiq and Ivan Jaime brought in – they also had spending, although they have succeeded in preventing them from losing one of their talented younger players after the deadline in Spain is closed.
It was clear that Valencia had to add the first team team in January, after their terrible first half of the season. The trio still needs a good chance from head coach Carlos Corberan, although recent injuries indicate Aarons and Sadiq who gets a chance.
It was only German Valera who left Valencia in January, when he went to Elche for the rest of the season. He could have been accompanied by Yarek Gasiorowski at the exit door of Mestalla, who had attracted strong interest from Turkish Giants Galatasaray.
According to Relo, Galatasaray made an important offer for Yarek, which it is believed to be in the region of € 15 million. However, Valencia has deposited the offer, but even if they had accepted it, the player would have rejected a move himself, as the report notes that personal conditions have not been agreed.
Galatasaray already signed Alvaro Morata during this winter period and they had hoped to add a Spaniard in Yarek, although it looks like it is no longer the case. The Turkish transfer window is still open until next Tuesday, and although another offer is possible, it would be a surprise if it were the previous reaction of player and club.
Although Yarek was unable to break into the regular starting line-up for Valencia this season, Crasshian Mosquera and Cesar Tarrega are preferred, he is still incredibly highly appreciated by the club. He is expected to be an important player in the long term, provided that he remains.
