Leicester manager Ruud van Nistelrooy is eager to sign a youngster from Manchester United in January.
Van Nistelrooy got off to a winning start as Leicester manager as he guided the Foxes to a 3-1 win at home to West Ham.
Previously, Van Nistelrooy served as interim manager at Manchester United, where he oversaw three wins and a draw.
The Dutchman previously worked as Erik ten Hag's assistant after returning to Old Trafford, where he enjoyed an illustrious playing career.
Van Nistelrooy now wants to make good use of his connections with his former club.
Leicester are in sixteenth place in the Premier League and have work to do to avert the threat of relegation.
As The Sun reported, van Nistelrooy wants to sign United youngster Toby Collyer on loan.
The 20-year-old midfielder is highly rated by United and has made three senior appearances so far.
Collyer played against Manchester City in the Community Shield and was also involved against Barnsley in the Carabao Cup.
Most notably, Collyer played the second half of United's defeat at home to Liverpool in the Premier League in September.
The player has been sidelined due to injury, but is now getting closer to a return to action.
It remains to be seen whether United, now managed by Ruben Amorim, will be willing to let Collyer go on loan in January.
Collyer has been at United since 2022, when he joined the club from Brighton's youth academy.
He has played for England at various levels and is currently an under-20 international.
Leicester, meanwhile, are back in action on Sunday when they host Brighton.
