Real Madrid's defensive misery this season cannot be explained without referring to the serious injury crisis on the back. Cross -lying injuries for David Alaba, Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao have all had a series impact, with the situation still terrible in El Clasico this weekend, with Raul Asencio the only fit central defender.
