Victor Osimhen has regularly been associated with a move to the Premier League in the midst of reported interest of Manchester United and Chelsea and he has now shared his position on a move
Victor Osimhen talked about a move to the Premier League cooled by hinting that he wants to “continue” with Galatasaray. The Nigerian Hitman was one of the most sought after attackers in world football last season.
Chelsea was strongly associated with a movement for him, but was unable to throw in a deal with Osimhen's parent club Napoli. Manchester United was reportedly also interested in him.
And with the Osimhen loan agreement with Galatasaray that will end this summer – and little chance that he will have a future in Italy – the Premier League duo could restore their interest. He might even be cheaper with a reported price tag of around £ 40 million.
But it seems that Osimhen is not interested in continuing from Galatasaray. He said: “It's a great feeling. It's great that they are [young fans] Be inspired by looking at me that they wear the masks. I thank God. I had not seen much before I came to Galatasaray.
“Everyone who shows so much love, the children shout at the tunnel output … I will continue to make them proud. The team wins, I score … I want to continue as they know me. If I can inspire the children of my teammates, it makes me very happy.”
Osimhen has enjoyed a sensational season with his loan club. He saw his brace against Sivassspor on Saturday scores 33 goals during the campaign in all competitions.
And that saw him the 31 that he spent on the 2022/23 season before Napoli, while the Italian side ended their long waiting time for the Italian crown. Speaking of his performance, Osimhen added: “It was important to break my record in my first season.
“I am at one of the most important clubs in the world. The largest club in Türkiye. I want to thank my family and friends for helping. I want to thank the technical team and club staff.

“They never left me alone. This season is a memory that I will remember for the rest of my life. Apart from goals and assists, I help the team. I want to get the ball in the future, help midfield, do my best for the team. The team comes for me.
“When I convert opportunities into goals, it makes me happy. The most important thing is not Victor Osimhen, but the team. Roland is also very important. We can say the same thing for Mario, Torreira and Sanchez.”
