Manchester United and Arsenal lead the Premier League interest in Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres, but they can get serious interest abroad after a contract offer
Juventus strives to sell eight stars, including Dusan Vlahovic and Douglas Luiz to finance their eye-watery deal for Viktor Gyokees. The sporty Lisbon striker is in the middle of the war between Arsenal and Manchester United in the middle of the majority of summer.
But the Italian side Juventus has tried in recent days to exercise in a deal. It has been claimed in Italy that the Serie A-giants are willing to offer Gyokeres a stunning £ 11 million a year to close Prime Minister League interest and move to Turin.
But the club has to bring in a number of serious funds to pay that contract offer, as well as the € 80 million plus € 10 million in ADD -Ons (£ 68.1 million plus £ 8.5 million) reimbursement required for their star attacker. According to Corriere Dello Sport, Juventus already has eight players in mind to sell this summer.
At the top of that list are Vlahovic and former Aston Villa star Luiz, who could get around £ 50 million between them. Lloyd Kelly, who was only permanently drawn from Newcastle this summer, could also be sold.
Samuel Mbangula, Daniele Rugani, Filip Kostic, Mattia Perin and Arkadiusz Milik are all candidates to say goodbye, with Juventus hopeful to earn around £ 85 million with all their sales this summer. And while Juve strives to invest those funds in a deal for Gyokees, the Italian side has alternatives in mind.
Former loaner Randal Kolo Muani remains an option, while Jonathan David can also be a bargain after leaving Lille at the end of his contract. Italian -established attackers Victor Osimhen and Mateo Retegui are reportedly also considered, although neither would be cheap.
It is still to be seen whether Juventus' efforts are sufficient to convince Gyokeres to move to Italy. But anyway, his potential exit from sport has become bitter with earlier reports that suggest that he was willing to strike to force a step off the club.
Gyokees then went to Instagram to give his side of the story. He wrote: “There are currently many conversations, most is incorrect. I will speak if the time is ripe.”

In the meantime, sporting President Federico Varandas has confirmed that his party will not be bullied to sell his star ahead. Speaking of record, he said: “One thing you should already know is better. Threats, blackmail and insults do not work with me.
“I can guarantee that Viktor Gyökeres will not leave for € 60 million+10 million (£ 51 million+£ 8.5 million) because I never promised him. This game that the agent plays only makes the situation worse. To this day, Sporting has not had a offer for Viktor Gyökkeres nor last season.”
