Liverpool is said to be interested in signing several La Liga stars this summer, but one of their own players could move to Spain before the beginning of the 2025-26 season.
During the winter transfer window, Las Palmas agreed to sign Stefan Bajcetic on loan for the rest of the season. And during his time back in La Liga, the 20-year-old was a radius of light for the Gran Canaria Club. He was performed in the absence of Captain Kirian Rodriguez, and during the crucial 3-1 victory at Getafe, he was a striking artist.
Liverpool has followed Bajcetic's progress at Las Palmas, and although they are certainly impressed, it seems that he will not return to their first team team in the summer, with the idea that he is going on loan again.
Relo has reported that Bajcetic will almost certainly stay in La Liga next season, because it is his favorite destination to continue to develop his game. And at this stage is the team that is most interested in agreeing a loan agreement with Liverpool Villarreal.
Villarreal currently has good midfield options with Dani Parejo, Pape Gueye and Santi Comesana, but with European football that will return to La Ceramica next season, head coach Marcelino Garcia Toral would require more power in depth – and he would get that with Bajcetic.
La Liga is better because they have players like Bajcetic, so for neutral it will be a pleasure if the midfielder in Liverpool would return in the summer. Villarreal would be an excellent place for him to continue to improve his game, and if Parejo would stay in La Ceramica, he would be an ideal mentor for the young Pivot.
