Aston Villa has already completed the signing of Andres Garcia from Spain during the transfer period of January of Levante. Emery publicly admitted on Sunday that Villa was also interested in contracting him.

Villarreal arrived in 2020, originally rented from Tottenham Hotspur, and spent 15 million euros to make the deal final the next summer.
