Vinicius Junior to reject Saudi Arabia interest in favour of new Real Madrid contract

In recent months there has been speculation about Vinicius Junior's future at Real Madrid. He has attracted strong interest from Saudi Arabia and there is talk that they will make a renewed attempt to convince him to leave the Santiago Bernabeu next summer.

Real Madrid will also do their best to keep him at the club for the long term, as Diario AS have reported that they will try to agree a new contract with him at the end of the season. His current contract expires in 2027, so Los Blancos are looking to ensure there is no danger as he enters the final two years.

Vinicius last extended with Real Madrid in 2023, with his contract paying him around €10 million per season. However, he wants a significant pay increase with his new contract, and his wish is to be in line with Kylian Mbappé, the top earner in the first team.

Saudi Arabia is still hoping to convince Vinicius, and their contract offer is still on the table. Despite this, Real Madrid are confident of keeping him for many years to come.
