Liverpool stars Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk are both confronted with the same problem. The Reds duo is both ready to see their contracts at Anfield fall this summer and have probably found the same stumbling block.
The advanced age of the couple in football terms, Salah is 32 and Van Dijk 33, means that terms available in Liverpool may not be as long as they would like, according to De Telegraaf. The club is willing to force their time instead of a decision, but it is said.
Given the standard of their versions, both will have faith in maintaining competitiveness. Salah is said to have an offer on the table of the Saudi Pro League, but is currently prioritizing Liverpool's contract offer.
