Liverpool -captain Virgil van Dijk greeted his side as the 'really deserved' champions of England after they had protected the Premier League title with four games.
A 5-1 win over Tottenham in Anfield saw the Reds for the 20th time English champions, similar to the record of Manchester United.
'It is special and it is something that we do not take for granted. It is amazing, “Van Dijk told Sky Sports while he and his teammates celebrated on the field.
'Many emotions before the game, throughout the week, but we did the job and we (are) really deserved champions of England.
'(Liverpool is) the most beautiful club in the world and I think we all earn this. Let's enjoy in the coming weeks and let it sink. '
The title Triumph of Liverpool is their second in five years and came in the first season of Arne Slot since the next Jurgen Klopp was in charge.
Slot insisted that he was not worried when Dominic Solanke gave an early lead, with Luis Diaz equalized shortly thereafter before Alexis Mac Allister, Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah and his own goal from Destiny Udogie sealed a comfortable victory.
“It wasn't ideal, but it didn't take long to trust these players, they always come back, they always find a way to win,” Slot told Sky Sports.
Asked how he had made winning the title so easily, Slot added: 'That is not only my task, it is the task of the players and the employees who stand there and left the work Jurgen (Klopp) and Pepijn (Libnders) here.
'The culture of the team, the working speed, the quality was excellent. We all knew that. We started very well and it may have helped a bit that (Manchester City) had a difficult enchantment that they had not had in five years.
“When the season started, everyone would have been happy if we were back in the top four for Champions League, but I don't think that was honest for our players because they are much better than that and that is what they have shown this season.”
