Vitinha set to sign new long-term PSG deal

Vitinha (24) will put pen to paper on a new long-term deal with Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report from Fabrizio Romano.

After a difficult first campaign, Vitinha has made progress under Luis Enrique. The Spaniard even named the Portuguese midfielder PSG player of the season in May, while he continues to play a prominent role during the current campaign (15 appearances, two goals in all competitions).

Since joining from FC Porto in the summer of 2022, he has made 109 appearances for Les Parisiens and the reigning Ligue 1 champions see him as part of their long-term future. He will therefore be rewarded with a new long-term contract, Romano understands.

Vitinha's current deal runs until 2027, but he will sign an extension lasting until June 2029. The Portuguese international's salary will be improved and the final details will be arranged before the official signing.
