Paddy Pimblett sends message to Ilia Topuria
Paddy Pimblett is at #9 on Lightweight after a career-best TKO victory on Michael Chandler in April.
Usually he would need a victory before he is eligible for a shot at the ultimate price of MMA.
However, the star power of Pimblett, in combination with his history with the champion, has sent him earlier in the title of position than expected.
As far as he is concerned, it is now just a matter of waiting for a call from the UFC bosses to make things officially.

Who could fight Ilia Topuria?
Arman Tsarukyan should be the following for Topuria as the number one UFC community service in lightweight.
However, the Armenian is in Dana White's bad books after he has pulled himself out of a UFC 311 title fight against Islam Makhachev at the very last moment.
It is currently unclear whether Tsarukyan has done enough to exchange himself after weighing as the back -up hunter for UFC 317.
Former interim light weight champion Justin Gaethje is the other option for the next fight from Topuria.
On #5 arranged on #5, 'the highlight' certainly has a strong thing if they choose to make Topuria vs. Tsarukyan.
Gaethje has threatened to retire from MMA if he does not get the next shot on the belt of 155 pounds.
Threats and requirements usually do not go well with the UFC, but only time will learn whether they have helped Gaethje's case.
