Kyle Walker returns to Manchester City at the end of the season, whereby AC Milan reportedly decides to sign him permanently.
The entire back of England moved to the Rossoneri on loan in January and ended his seven and a half years Stint in Manchester, amid the family drama outside the field.
Walker hit the ground in Italy with three unbeaten results of his first three starts.
But his form fell like Milan, who is currently in eight in the Serie A, struggled in his own country and in Europe.
The 34-year-old played 12 times in all competitions for Sergio Conukicao's side, but has remained offside since he underwent an operation on a broken elbow in April.
Although the Walker deal contains an option to buy only £ 4.2 million (€ 5 million) after the loan has expired, Milan does not want to sign it permanently, according to Calciomercato.
The elbow injury of the former Tottenham star in combination with the impressive form of Alex Jimenez on the right-hand back is said to have convinced the Milan's hierarchy against a permanent movement.
Jimenez, who is only 20, was originally signed for the under-23 side of Milan, but this season made 20 performances in the Serie A.
Walker said he “wanted to cry” when he left the city and previously admitted that he didn't think his time was over in the Etihad.
'After I said goodbye, Pep [Guardiola] Got up and spoke and said a very nice message to me, just thank for everything, “Walker said on his BBC podcast.
“But listen, it's not over yet. I'm just on loan here. I have to take into account that I can go back. It is clear that both parties must reach an agreement at the end of the season and. The chapter is not completely closed, we will see what happens.
The Treble winner wanted to leave the Etihad Stadium about decreasing playing time, afraid of how it would influence his international career. Walker played in March in both of the opening qualifications of Thomas Tuchel in March.
“I wanted to play in Europe or stay in the Premier League,” Walker added. 'I still want to represent my country and go up to a hundred caps.
“I just want to be able to say that I have represented my country 100 times.”
His Italy switch was also in the midst of family drama of the field, where Walker Vecht for his marriage to the mother of four of his children, Annie Kilner, after he also fought two children with his influencer ex-Miders Lauryn Goodman.
With two more competition matches, Milan is seriously in danger of missing the European qualification and being three points behind Roma in the sixth.
They could still end the season with silverware and confronted with Bologna in the Coppa Italia final on Wednesday evening.
