Walker says move to AC Milan has left him to ‘solely concentrate on football’

Kyle Walker has claimed that his move to AC Milan left him to 'only concentrate on football' after leaving his Lauryn Goodman drama.

The International of England started again in Italy after sealing an exit from Man City during the winter transfer window, amid a decrease in the form of full-back.

Since then he has made four performances for the Italian giants – two in the competition, one in the Coppa Italia and one in the Champions League – while setting up in his new life.

Reflecting on his new start, Walker admitted that he was now allowed to 'only concentrate' on his football, away from the antics that caused distraction in the city.

Walker said to GQ: 'I am not a man who looks too far ahead. I like to take small steps at the same time and that's how I did my career.

'So if you ask me what the game will be in three weeks, I would not know because I only concentrate on the next game. The first two weeks in Milan were fantastic.

'The fans have been excellent. The food is great. The weather can improve a little. It has not been sunny yet [laughs] But I wait until March. I enjoy it completely.

'It has given me a new life where I can only concentrate on football and fall in love with the game again.

'I am not saying that I have become at the game out of love, but to play against the same players in the Premier League after winning everything, this is something I needed to reinforce the love I have for football' .

Mail Sport revealed last month that Walker stopped with Goodman moved to Italy prior to his move to AC Milan by refusing to rent out her Sussex -Herenhuis.

The influencer, mother of the two love children of the defender, intended to bank her movement with the proceeds from a lease, but Walker – who owns the £ 2.4 million real estate – rejected the proposal.

Goodman, 33, hoped to use the money to rent a place in Milan to be Kyle, 34, close to their two children Kairo, four and 16 months old daughter Kinara.

But the defender of England, through his lawyers, said Goodman that her Sussex men's house rented with five bedrooms, was a no-go and said that if she wanted to move, the building would have to be sold.

A source said: 'Kyle just laughed when he heard of Lauryn's proposal and started it immediately.

'He will not let her take advantage of making a few thousand pounds per month by renting out his property and having a great time in Milan or somewhere else.

“He also made it clear that the country house cannot be left empty.

“Lauryn continues to live with the children or it should be sold if she is determined to go abroad with them.”

He held a private loss with teammates from Manchester City and would like to go with the next phase of his career.

The source added: 'Kyle is looking forward to a new start, but he is not going to allow Lauryn to take advantage of him, even if he starts playing abroad.

“What she proposes is just not on.”

Goodman had previously expressed the wish to move to Dubai when Walker was initially connected to a transfer to the lucrative Saudi competition after he told city boss Pep Guardiola about his intentions to move abroad.

But once he had a deal with AC Milan, Lauryn changed from Tact and told Pals that she would follow Kyle 'Anywhere' in a desperate bid that he would make contact with their children, and undoubtedly irritated his wife Annie Kilner, the Mother of his fourth other children.

In the meantime, Friends of Walker and Kilner have revealed that the model came in the Siro 'through the back doors to see how her husband made his debut for AC Milan at the beginning of the month.

The right back, which is on loan to the Italian team from Manchester City, was mentioned in Sérgio Conceição's started eleven for their 1-1 draw with Arch Rivals Inter on the San Siro on Sunday evening.
