(WATCH) Raphinha slots Barcelona ahead at Celta Vigo

Barcelona has secured a perfect return to La Liga at Celta Vigo.

La Blaugrana are back on track in the league after the international break, with a four-point lead at the top of the table before kick-off, and this lead is expected to continue in Galicia.

Barcelona survived an early penalty at the Estadio Balaidos before squandering their first chance of the evening.

Jules Kounde's long ball forward was not processed by Celta Vigo's retreating defense and Raphinha raced away to calmly give Barcelona a 1-0 lead.

A goal in Galicia takes Raphinha to eight league goals, with 13 in all competitions, marking a new career high for league goals scored during his time in Catalonia.

However, the away side will have to be on their guard in the second half as Celta Vigo has only lost two home games in the 2024/2025 season so far.
