Barcelona can move seven points clear of Real Madrid, who play later on Saturday, if they beat Real Betis at the Benito Villamarin. As things stand, they are on course to do just that after taking the lead just before half-time.
Barcelona had the best of the game in the first forty minutes, and they got no reward for that. It is a beautiful team goal from the visitors, which is finished by La Liga top scorer Robert Lewandowski.

It wasn't an easy opening forty minutes for Barcelona, but they will be happy to have taken the lead just before half-time. There is no doubt that Betis will look to respond in the second period, so Hansi Flick's side must be ready to weather that storm.
