(WATCH) Robert Lewandowski’s 15th La Liga goal of the season edges Barcelona past Celta Vigo

Barcelona are on their way to a winning La Liga return at Celta Vigo.

La Blaugrana marked their international breakthrough with a 1-0 defeat at Real Sociedad, but they are on course for all three points in Galicia.

With Real Madrid playing tomorrow, the Catalans can move seven points clear overnight thanks to a goal in either half at the Estadio Balaidos.

Raphinha raced onto Jules Kounde's long pass to score his eighth league goal of the season so far and put Barcelona ahead at half-time.

Despite having to try his luck either side of the break, Barcelona's lead has proved crucial, with Robert Lewandowski converting his 15th La Liga goal of the 2024/2025 season.

His persistence on the edge of the Celta Vigo pitch drew Raphinha's pass into his path and the experienced striker smashed home the likely winner.
