Arsenal goes to the Parc des Princes with a shortage of one goal to destroy after Paris Saint-Germain won the first stage of the UEFA Champions League semi-final with 1-0 in the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday evening at the Emirates Stadium. Mikel Merino, however, remains Bullish about the opportunities of the Gunners to reach the final.
The strike of Ousmane Dembélé in the fourth minute is the difference between the two parties. Merino, however, believes that Arsenal can lean on their experience to beat Real Madrid in the Bernabeu, while they want to win again in the Champions League. “Those experiences (such as those in the Bernabeu) are huge for us, to prove ourselves that we can win everywhere, on every side in the Premier League,” the Spaniard started in an interview with mixed zone attended by Get Frans Voetbalieuws.
The Arsenal -midfielder added: “We know that Paris is a difficult place to go, but we have always proven that we can compete against everyone. I think we will win the second stage.”
