Harry Kane sent his best wishes to Bayern Munich teammate Alphonso Davies after the defender's season ended due to an ACL injury.
The Canadian full-back was withdrawn early during the play-off victory of the third place of Canada on the USMNT. He was able to leave the field himself in the 12th minute, but looked in a lot of discomfort, with the injury later turned out to be a torn cross of the cross. Kane was one of the first to send his best wishes to the husband of Bayern Munich.
In a message on Instagram, Kane said to his teammate: “We are all behind your @alphonsodavies. You will undoubtedly come back from this injury that is stronger than ever.”
Although Kane supports Davies on the surface, the captain of England will be aware that his absence is an important blow to the hope of Bundesliga of Bayern. The former Tottenham man hopes to break his most important trophy duck, but the Bavarian Club can no longer afford slip-ups in the race against current champions Bayer Leverkusen, which are only six points behind the current competition leaders.
Davies is already on its way to recovery, but will at least miss the next six months of action. Kane's head will be sent back to the Interior Action after his international exploits with England as Bayern Face St. Pauli on Saturday.
