West Ham has agreed a deal with Brighton to sign Evan Ferguson on a straight loan until the end of the season.
Ferguson is expected to travel to London for a medical one and, all well, he will be reunited with Graham Potter, who gave him his debut in Brighton.
The 20-year-old came back from an injury for the last 17 minutes of Saturday's 7-0 defeat in Nottingham Forest, his first performance in six weeks.
Ferguson may not be the only business West Ham. They held conversations with Lorient about the permanent signing of striker Eli Junior Kroupi.
They are also in discussion with the representatives of Celtic Forward Daniel Cummings about a pre-contract agreement for the summer.
