Jarrod Bowen is on the sidelines after breaking his left foot during West Ham's 5-0 defeat to Liverpool.
The 28-year-old limped off in the 60th minute as Julen Lopetegui's side came under fire at the London Stadium and no timetable has been given for his return.
Bowen is West Ham's top scorer this season with five Premier League goals and has the most assists with four.
Bowen's injury comes as a major blow to the under-pressure Lopetegui, who has struggled since taking over from David Moyes this summer.
West Ham are thirteenth in the Premier League with six wins from nineteen games, and are eight points above the bottom three.
Antonio released from the hospital
Michail Antonio has been released from hospital and is recovering at home after his car accident on December 7.
The crash in Epping Forest, Essex, left him with a broken leg, which required surgery and rehabilitation, initially in hospital.
