Before Julia Avila retired after losing the first fight of the Night, UFC commentator John Goden news announced that the most important promotion of MMA will make a big change that the hunters could influence.
From now on all hunters will return to the use of the old UFC gloves permanent.

Old UFC gloves return forever
Sean Strickland was very critical about the new UFC gloves and Islam Makhachev also expressed his worries.

In anticipation of UFC 309, it was announced that Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic would use the old gloves for their heavyweight title fight, just as everyone would compete on the stacked Madison Square Garden Card.
“There were many complaints,” White explained to a UFC 309 pre-Fight press conference.
“We originally made these gloves to stop harvests and we had good intentions with them.
“They didn't succeed, people were not happy with them. So I actually made the decision.
'I called our Chief Operating Officer, Lawrence [Epstein]And said: “I change the gloves, I want the old gloves back”. “
After Jones Ko'd Mioic, White confirmed that the UFC permanently returns to the old gloves.
“Yes, it's a permanent move, but the problem is that we don't have enough of the old gloves, so until we can get them all done, yes, that's it,” he said.
