‘What a knockout’… UFC vet stuns Michael Bisping with vicious KO in UFC Seattle homecoming

UFC Bantamweight Ricky Simón ended his three-field losing stripe in style with a ridiculous knockout in UFC Seattle.

Vancouver, wa native Ricky Simón, demonstrably came into a 'must-win' situation in UFC Seattle. Simón only achieved a few hours of his hometown and earned one of the wildest victories of his career to achieve a three-fighter-losing series.

Simón entered UFC Seattle as a modest gamble underdog against Javid Basharat on the Prelims. But only a minute in the fight, picked up Simón Basharat and almost completed a full body slam, imposed his will and brought Basharat to early problems.

Basharat struggled with the pace and pressure of Simón in the opening round when the veteran used his well -rounded skills to frustrate his opponent. It all came abruptly with about a minute over in round 1.

Simón landed a beautifully timed right hand on Basharat on the floor and hit him cold. The fans of Climate Pledge Arena broke into cheers when the Pacific Northwest -striking one of the most important victories of his career in his home state yielded.

Simón was desperate to go back in the win column after successive losses to Song Yadong, Mario Bautista and Vinicius Oliveira. The finish was Simón's first knockout victory since December 2021.

Simón is still in his physical prime and could use his UFC Seattle performance to return to the position of the Bantam weight. The Alum of the Contender Series of Dana White has had a striped UFC official period, with a five-fighter-winning series and a three-field losing series.

Simón earned the LFA Bantamweight title before he made his UFC debut in April 2018. A split decision gain on DWCS in 2017 was not enough to earn a place in the Bantamweight schedule.

UFC Seattle Prelims contained many fireworks

The version of Simón was not the only striking on the prelims in UFC Seattle. Austin Vanderford got the most out of his long-awaited UFC debut by finishing his short-note opponent.

Former Joaquin Buckley Rival Nursulton Ruziboev also earned a statement knocked out against a replacement opponent on the Undercard.

Mansur Abdul-Malik showed why he was the biggest gamble favorite in UFC Seattle with a Come-From-Behind victory over Nick Klein. Abdul-Malik earned a contract on DWCs last year.
