Renowned French Outlet L'Equipe has tipped six Wonderkids to dominate football in 2019. Six years later, where are they now?
As part of their 'The Wonds of European Football' series, L'Equipe mentioned six young players whom they believed they would go straight to the top.
So what happened to them? Well, Sportbible has viewed the six players in the list.
Karim Adeyemi
Adeyemi is the striking wonder of all their choices. The 24-year-old enjoyed his breakthrough in Red Bull Salzburg before earning a move to Borussia Dortmund.
The winger, known for his burning pace, scored 23 goals in 93 games for Dortmund and warned part of the European elite, in which Arsenal and Liverpool thought he would keep an eye on his development.
Ansu Fati
Fati made his Barcelona debut as a teenager, only 16 years old. He was destined to enjoy a superstar career after inheriting the No.10 shirt from Lionel Messi.
But a series of injuries prevented his career -in which the player in the Premier League was lent to Brighton.

He is back in Barcelona, but this season has only made eight performances in all competitions.
Karamoko Dembele
At the time, Dembele was impressed and made serious waves at Celtic, with the publication that describes the attacking talent as 'lively and agile, the British striker seems destined for a great career, although questions will guide him, especially about his selection choice'.
Dembele, now 22, had attracted interest from Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus, but his big move was never explained.

In 2022 he signed for Brest before returning to the UK in the form of a loan movement to Blackpool.
Dembele came to Queens Park Rangers last summer on a seasonal loan, where the Championship Club later confirmed a permanent deal, effectively from the summer of 2025.
Mohamed Amine Ihattaren
Ihattaren was highly valued as a young person at PSV Eindhoven. After playing 74 games for PSV, Juve dived in and the attacking midfielder insured the services.
He was immediately lent before he had endured a difficult period after he had mutually agreed to withdraw his contract with the Italian giants.
Ihattaren signed for the Turkish outfit SamsunSpor, which then ran away from the deal.
He came to Slavia Prague in December 2023, but his contract was terminated after he had not made any appearance for the Czech Republic side.
Last September Ihattaren returned to the Netherlands when he moved to RKC Waalwijk.
Sebastiano Esposito
Esposito came through the ranks in Inter Milan, but his career still has to get off the ground and enjoy a series of loan spells away from the San Siro.
The Italian attacker is currently on loan at Empoli, where he scored 10 goals this season in 27 games.
Joelon Fernandes
Fernandes had hoped to be the next big thing to break the sporty CP Academy.
He enjoyed a two -year loan spell in Basel before he joined Turkish Team Hatayspor in July 2023.
