A team full of young talent, including three under 19 internationals, a recently inaugurated new training complex, the ninth best presence throughout Spain and the promise of a new stadium that will organize the World Cup 2030.
It is no wonder that the owners of Liverpool want to buy the Spanish second division club Malaga. They are confronted with competition from the owners of Paris Saint-Germain Qatari Sports Investments, who also have an interest in Portuguese side Braga.
If the Fenway Sports Group (FSG) wants to do what the owners of the owners of Manchester City have done with Girona, Malaga looks like an even more attractive proposition than the Catalan side that broke in the Champions League last season.
If a feeder club where they can mature that forbidding Brexit rules to sign Brexit rules, and 'Park' more than 18 years that would not yet be eligible for work permits, Malaga is perfectly set up to develop such a young talent.
Five years in administration have forced them to lean in their own academy and they currently have three teenagers as main pillars of the first XI of coach Sergio Pellicer.

His extensive knowledge of every youth category in the club has made him well suited for a side of which the finances have been cleaned up by administration but cannot invest.
Cordero is the jewel in the crown of Malaga, but is from a contract at the end of the season and there are fear that he, Moloney and Merino will leave the club just like Brahim and Huijsen did.
If the club is purchased by FSG, Liverpool will first have chosen those players to eventually bleed in Anfield, or to cash in as soon as they have settled.
The prospect to hold talent for a long time for long talent and to shake the club of the clutches of 51 percent owner Abdullah bin Nasser Al Thani, probably means that Malaga fans respond positively to every possible sale to FSG.
When City Football Group tried to buy NAC Breda in 2022, they had agreed a deal for only 7 million euros (£ 5.85 million), but in the end they withdrew because there was so much hostile opposition to the fanbase of the Dutch club, there will be no such rejection of home understants in Malaga.
CFG has also seen protests from one of their stable, French club Troyes, after they were relegated to Ligue 2 who borrowed their best player, Savinho, to another sister club, Girona, and then sold to the city for £ 30 million last summer.
But 'Everyone except thani' is the stock reaction of Malaga supporters on the suggestion that FSG takes over. The club has succeeded in building a new training complex that was inaugurated last year and their 'La Rosaleda' stadium will be rebuilt and present from 30,000 to 45,000. They play in a temporary house during seasons 2026-27 and 2027-28 while it is completed.
The stadium, currently owned by three of the municipal institutions of Malaga, will be one of the guest locations for the World Cup 2030, which will host Spain together with Morocco and Portugal. There is also the potential to fill it. The average presence of slightly less than 25,000 is better than all other teams in the second row of Spain and 12 of the clubs in the top flight.
There were still normal gates of 20,000 last season when they fell into the third layer. The club is sick and needs our support, the battle cry under which supporters continued to show up.
Malaga has the potential to pursue Girona if the right staff is set to design and manage a coherent project. The success of the Catalan club last season was just as much owed to coach of Michel and experienced football managers sports director Quique Carcel and chairman Pere Guardiola (brother of), as well as to the investments in the city group.
And if it thrive as Girona did, Liverpool would benefit. The only care in the longer term will be that if things go too well, a larger pushback from fans would no longer be satisfied to make Liverpool needs dominate.
