“I think it's every flyweight athlete's dream to fight Demetrious Johnson one day, and I've done that three times. So for me it's fantastic.

Adriano Moraes' mother adopted him after he was abandoned on the street
Although Moraes has accomplished so much, nothing makes him happier than talking about his beloved mother.
After being abandoned by his biological parents and spending three years in the orphanage, the born fighter met an amazing woman who adopted him and gave him the opportunity to become the humble warrior he is today.
Moraes' mother showered him with love and helped him develop the courage needed to step foot in the cage and do sensational things.
Now the athlete has a baby of his own and he is so excited to introduce the couple to each other.
The 35-year-old explained: “I like talking about my mother. My mother is an angel sent by God into my life. She supports me every time, whether I win or lose. She is always by my side.
“I'm very happy because now I have my daughter and my mother is coming to meet her for the first time.
“This is a dream come true for me, for my daughter to meet her grandmother, it's something magical. I can bring her here to Florida where I live.
“She hates traveling, but she's coming because we have a baby, and she wants to get to know her.”
