FIFPro has announced the players among the finalists for a place in this year's Global Ideal Line-ups.

FIFPro, the global union representing more than 65,000 professional football players, has announced the finalists for the Men's World 11 and Women's World 11 for 2024.

An award that started in 2005, the all-star lineups are chosen exclusively by professional soccer stars. According to FIFPro, a record 28,000 footballers voted for the men's and women's teams this year.

When will the 2024 FIFPro World 11s be announced?

FIFPro says it will unveil the two World 11s on Monday, December 9 on its digital platforms, starting at 2pm CET (8am PT/5am PT).

According to the body, the players chosen for each lineup are: the goalkeeper, three defenders, three midfielders and three forwards with the most votes, plus the remaining outfield player who has collected the most nods.

Qualifying for the Men's World 11 ran from August 21, 2023 to July 14, 2024, while voting for the Women's World 11 was based on performance between August 21, 2023 and August 10, 2024.
