Bryan Battle slams fans who booed his win at UFC 310

Aiming to provide an entertaining spectacle, the fighter steamed forward, hoping to apply pressure. However, in the opening round he had difficulty with his opponent's speed.
In the second segment, Battle worked his way back into the match, landing big strikes in the clinch to level the fight.
The third round descended into brutality, with the fighters trading vicious shots in an attempt to do enough to earn the decision.

Ultimately, it was Battle who received the jury's verdict, much to the dismay of the audience in attendance, who were very vocal about how they felt.
Furious at the response, he exclaimed during his interview with Joe Rogan, the victor, “Who do you care about? I know all these sick, twisted degenerates in Vegas aren't booing 'The Butcher'; I just fought my heart out for all of you.
“Shoutout to Randy. “Randy is a real man, unlike all the other motherfuckers shackin' this b***h right now.”
Fans react to Bryan Battle's win at UFC 310
It seems viewers enjoying the action at home had the same feelings as those watching in the arena, with many taking to social media to express their opinions.
One said: “Missed weight, lost the fight and he wonders why they're booing, lol,” while another added: “Berating a guy who didn't come to fight should have lost the decision, got knocked out in round three startled! Either way, you MUST get booed if you get a win by holding to survive MOST of the fight. The referee should have broken that clinch much more often. I wasn't even trying to get to the end!”
Others, however, were not so harsh, such as one MMA enthusiast who wrote: “It's not wrong for him to feel this way, but they applauded the decision more than his performance. But I can't hate him for the way he fought and made weight.”
A fourth martial arts enthusiast said: “He didn't really deserve them.”
