Nikita Krylov has taken a long way, from a mine family in Ukraine to reach the UFC.
Nikita Krylov grew up in Ukraine to a Russian family and was about as far away from the UFC as he could imagine.
His training in Kyokushin Karate from the age of 10, however, gave him a foundation to make the transition to mixed martial arts, who debuted in competitions in 2012.
He had his first fight in the UFC in 2013, but will have spent 18 months away from the Octagon when he fights Diego Reyes on UFC 314.

Krylov is at an altitude of six feet and 3 inches, the equivalent of 191 cm.
He fights in the light heavyweight division in the UFC, which has a weight limit of 205 pounds. Krylov weighed for his last fight with Ryan Spann at 206LBS, which he won through the entry into the first round.
