Why is Fulham vs MU at 7pm?The reason behind the unusual kick-off time explained

Manchester United will try to return to the victory in the Premier League when they visit Craven Cottage on Sunday to compete against Fulham.

In their previous Premier League match at home against Brighton, they lost a 3-1 defeat, after which manager Ruben Amorim called his team 'perhaps the worst in the history of Manchester United'.

Amorim came up with the alarming remark after United suffered a seventh defeat in fifteen games under their new head coach.

The 39-year-old also damaged a TV in the dressing room during a tirade after the game at Old Trafford.

So why has their next match moved to an unusual starting time and will it still be broadcast on TV as a result?

Read on below for everything you need to know about Manchester United's visit to Fulham, including how you can follow the competition.

What time is Fulham – Manchester United?

The Premier League match between Fulham and Manchester United starts on Sunday 26 January at 7 pm in Craven Cottage.

It is their first home game since their loss at home against Brighton last weekend, so that they are in 13th place in the Premier League before the kick -off.

While United fans will be used to seeing their team kicking off on Sunday at 2 p.m. or 4.30 p.m., their upcoming trip to Southwest London will be played on Sunday evening at 7 p.m.

Why is Fulham against Manchester United at 7 p.m.?

The competition would originally start on the same day, but at the earlier time of 12.30 pm, because the competition was selected by TNT Sports to be shown live by the provider.

However, the Red Devils who played in such a lock would not have given them enough time to rest and restore them after their Europa League match against Rangers.

Although an alternative time of 12.00 on Sundays was said to be presented, United the Red Devils refused to play earlier in the day because they wanted to rest as close as possible to 72 hours of rest if it were possible under the given circumstances.

Fortunately for them, their wish was granted, after which the game was postponed to Sunday evening to prevent the reporting from TNT Sports to clash with the Sunday matches of Sky Sports earlier in the day.

Where to look
