Why Jacob Murphy and Bruno Fernandes will decide Newcastle vs Manchester Utd | Experts’ best bets – Weekend Wager

The best of Sunsport are back with another series of tips for this weekend's Premier League campaign -and a wildcard point on the Masters.

There is a bumper selection of luminaires to introduce our teeth while the Prem-Run-in continues.

Arsenal takes on Brentford in a London Derby in the evening kick-off on Saturday.

While Manchester United goes to the north to Newcastle for a juicy Super Sunday collision.

The masters walks throughout the weekend – plus we have a very special tip for the Scottish Grand National.

Here are the thoughts of host Kweku Afari, Omroep Toni Afoke and Betfair's James Mackie while they look at the best bets of the weekend.

Arsenal vs Brentford – Saturday, 5.30 p.m.

Toni – BTTS, Arsenal to win, Merino to score on 6/1.

Arsenal has one eye on the second stage of the Champions League against Real Madrid.

Nevertheless, I still think that the Gunners will win them.

I go for both teams to score, Arsenal to win, and for Mikel Merino to score.

Merino has six in his last ten and I think Brentford is good enough to find the net with the Emirates.

Kweku – Saka to score or help, Saka to be contaminated 2+ times on 2/1

This is a small brutal gamble builder.

Saka is a player who also has to get minutes in his legs. He is a player who is very, very sustainable.

Everything that is good from Arsenal comes from Bukayo Saka. This season he has 15 target statements.

James – Leandro Trossard 3+ Schoten and Yoane Wissa 3+ shots on 4/1

Trossard has had three or more shots in four of his last five Premier League outings for Arsenal, with 19 in total.

That is on average 3.8 per 90 minutes, which is an absolutely creaking record.

Wissa has had three shots in 10 of his last 12 Premier League performances.

He had three shots and scored at the Emirates last season – he is the man who follows.

Newcastle vs Manchester United – Sunday, 4.30 p.m.

Toni – Under 2.5 goals, Manuel Ugarte, Alejandro Garnacho 2+ shots on 10/1

Everyone who looks at Man United knows that Garnacho loves a shot.

This season he has an average of 3.51 per 90 in all competitions.

Newcastle does not need many goals to beat Man United.

United has not scored 16 times this season, which is the most since 1989.

Kweku – Jacob Murphy to score or to help on 9/5

Murphy has been so instrumental for Newcastle this season.

In the absence of Anthony Gordon, who has been injured in recent weeks, Murphy has certainly emerged.

He was directly involved in 19 goals and 33 performances in all competitions this season, scored eight and assists 11.

And if you look at this Newcastle side, they are very, very functional. What they really do good is to use their broad men.

James – Bruno Fernandes to score or helps on 9/5

United would not be anywhere without Bruno Fernandes this season.

He has made 15 chances about his last three Premier League performances and created three plus opportunities in every game.

He has been created on average 2.6 chances per 90 minutes this season.

And I think on 9/5, for him to score an assistant, I think that is creaking value, really.

De Masters – Round 3 bet

James-Elke Round 3 par 3 hole-in-one on 12/1

In general, in six of the last nine years there has been at least one bait in the 16th hole in Augusta.

And you even get money to make someone happen. Does not matter on day one, day two, day three and day four.

So I think that's a cracking bet.

Scottish Grand National

James – MacDermott 8/1

I can't look away from a Willie Mullins -run.

He is going to clean up again.

And I actually think the horse he will do it with, the horse with which he won it last year, called MacDermott.

This is a profit, only bet, not every way. This horse will win or fall from the back of the TV, because it is the type of horse it is.
