One of the increase in the “ramps season” in Manchester United was the knowledge that Alejandro Garnacho Ruben Amorim had fallen in the same way that Marcus Rashford had done for him.
The Portuguese coach seems to have a very clear idea about how he expects his wing players to behave on the field and for all purposes, both the Englishman and the Argentinian were apparently not the elevated norms that Amorim expects.
No future for Garnacho at Man United
It certainly did not help Garnacho when he focused on his manager in the press, and the 20-year-old would certainly have understood what the implications of his eruption would be.
Amorim's answer – telling the player to find a new club for his United teammates – is well documented, although an asking price of £ 70 million could postpone potential buyers.
In the past three seasons, Garnacho has scored goals since the breaking of the United First-Team 23 goals and gave 15 assists in 115 games, 73 of which started.
An average goals-to-games of about one in five is not the worst return, but it can certainly be improved.
An area where the player has not received too much credit is with regard to his passing accuracy. As high as 90.8% has been under the radar in recent years, as well as a respectable 116 opportunities created in the same time frame.

It could also surprise many to understand that the Argentinian also won the possession on 309 separate occasions and made 47 interceptions, suggesting that he has earned more than his place in the United Start XI.
Perhaps Amorim's powerful attitude could come back to chase him, as expected, Garnacho plates somewhere else in the current transfer window.
Lots of interest in Garnacho
Although it was believed that both Napoli and Bayer Leverkusen were interested in the player, there is a conviction that he would rather stay in the Premier League who has sent the will of Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, of whom the last just sent another United Winger, Jadon Sancho.
Villa also enjoyed the services of Rashford in the second half of last season, so it is completely understandable why they too would like to protect a player who thrives on beating his opposite number and can play just as well on the left or right side.
Given that Spurson Odobert and Brennan Johnson already have Wilson Odobert and Brennan Johnson, the idea of Garnacho could be the long-term replacement for son Heung-Min.
There is a lot of speculation around the next movement of the 32-year-old and whether he decides to leave the club this summer or the next, but anyway, it is clear that the time of Son in North London is coming to an end.
New manager, Thomas Frank, should ideally make a splash in the transfer market, and Landing Garnacho would certainly leave the rest of the Premier League upright and be able to take knowledge.
That Tottenham has qualified for the Champions League of next season will almost certainly be a factor in the negotiations.
Could the Argentinian former teammate Rashford be replaced in Villa?
At the time of Leon Bailey and Donyell Malen have locked up the right-sided place at Villa, the United Wide Man could be a Like-for-like replacement for his former united colleague, Rashford.
Looking at the statistics of the 27-year-old from the second half of the 2024/25 campaign, four goals and three assists in 13 games in all competitions are a considerable return of one in three, and he certainly proved a point for Amorim and perhaps self-in that short period.

A completion of 88.3% was in one line with Garnacho for the same time frame, while winning 70% of his tackles showed a determination that had left him anything but at United.
Without the inability of Villa to qualify for the Champions League, there is little doubt that Rashford would still work under Unai Emery, albeit on a more permanent basis, and the outfit -based outfit would not even consider the Argentinian.
Chelsea that goes after Garnacho, makes no sense
