PSG can still break the 30-year record of Nantes of 32 games from the start of the season. Although Nantes lost one match on its way to the title in 1994-95, no French club ever went a whole league campaign without suffering.
“Celebrating a title at the beginning of April shows that we have reached a very high level this season,” Luis Enrique told reporters. “We have achieved this goal, but we have more games to play.
“We are motivated to try to complete unbeaten this season. Nobody has done that in France before, so that's something we want to achieve.
“That would help us in the Champions League and the Coupe de France.”
When Kylian Mbappe left PSG last season, fans were skeptical to Luis Enrique who won another title, but the Spaniard delivered in style.

“When I see the team playing as a collective in attack and defense, this means that when I asked for 11 players who attack and defend, it came out. It's what I wanted for many months. I like it, and the fans like it.”
That is the dominance of PSG that they have dropped points in just five draws, while the victory over Angers extended their winning run to nine Ligue 1 matches – a perfect record since the beginning of February that gave their rivals no chance to catch up.
PSG is still looking for more trophies when they are confronted with Aston Villa in the quarter -finals of the Champions League, where the first leg will take place next week, while taking it against Reims in the final of the Coupe de France next month.
“We have had the past two months before us; we are in great shape,” added Luis Enrique.
“Our goal is to keep fighting and go as far as possible in the Champions League.”
