Antony greeted his real betis loan as “one of the most beautiful chapters of my life” while he prepares for his return to Manchester United.
The Brazil winger scored nine goals and offered five assists in 26 performances for Betis in his six -month revival of loans.
But Antony and Betis have passed a painful latest dance and lost 4-1 to Chelsea in the UEFA Conference League final in Poland.
He is ready to return to Man Utd, who would not accept a cut-prize deal or another loan movement.
The 26-year-old was grateful for his time at Betis while he wrote an emotional open letter on Instagram.
Antony said in Spanish: “Today is the day to thank for one of the most beautiful chapters of my life.
“While I write this page of my story, I have to tell you why you will – and always – so special for me.
“Because I was a child, football wasn't just a dream, it was my only chance to change my life.
“Life brought me far, from the favela to the world. I left Brazil, played in the Netherlands, played in England and went to be a boy to become a father.
“A lot has changed, but football has always been there, always my safe haven. Everything collapses until one day.
“From heaven to hell. The ball stopped going inside, the joy faded, my world was darkened and I started to doubt myself, my talent and my passion for the game.
“That is when football gave me a last gift: real betis. From the first step in this club I felt something else.
“It was as if I came home, such as finding a piece of myself that I thought I had lost. With you I started to smile again.
'Thank you for welcoming me as one of your own. Thank you for giving me the joy of playing football.
“And thank you for reminding me why I fell in love with the game. My house, my people, thank you very much.”
Antony endorsed the heart -warming post with: “My world. My people.”
The video started with Antony who ran around a Villamarin stage and his last days with the club weeks that wanted to keep him desperate.
He wore his betis sweater, with his young children who also popped up in the green and white kits.
Then it showed its best match heights, including his incredible goal against the former man Utd teammate David de Gea in Fiorentina.
Dramatic Hans Zimmer-like piano music played everywhere in the background.
Antony has passed a scorching first half of the season in the Premier League and compiled what a frustrating two seasons had been in Old Trafford after his £ 86 million from Ajax in 2022.
Although he may not be accepted in the fold in Old Trafford, Antony attracted an interest from Bayer Leverkusen, now managed by former United Baas Erik ten Hag.
