Wolves brought an emotional tribute to their former player Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva on Saturday for their pre-season-friendly against Celta Vigo in Molineux on Saturday.
Jota and his brother died on July 3 in a car accident in Spain.
Wolves played for the first time in Molineux since the brothers died, with a minute of silence before the game. Flower wreaths were also placed on the field.
Jota initially came to Wolves on loan in 2017 before he signed permanently the following year. He was part of the Wolves team who won the championship title in the 2017-18 campaign and went for the club in the Premier League before he came to Liverpool.
During his time at Wolves, Jota 131 performances appeared, while he scored 44 goals and gave 19 assists.
Wolves are planning further tribute prior to their opening match of the Premier League season at home in Manchester City next weekend.
A moving Tifo will be shown in the South Bank in Molineux, with fan mosaics also to be seen.
Jota's favorite song, Fields of Gold by Sting, is played on the speakers just before the start.
The club will also produce a commemorative program of 100 pages for the luminaire.
Jota was included in the Hall of Fame of Wolves, with some of the flower tribute to him who are shown in a permanent tribute in the Wolves Museum.
Celta Vigo won 1-0 against Wolves, where Pablo Duran scored the only goal of the match.
