‘World’s sexiest footballer’ Alisha Lehmann sports smart new look as Euro 2025 gets underway

Alisha Lehmann has worn a new breaking look while preparing herself at the start of Euro 2025 in Switzerland.

The Juventus star, called the 'World's Sexiest Football player', rocked new glasses as she posed with a ball for the tournament.

Lehmann, who used to go out with former Aston Villa star Douglas Luiz, is the most famous player in Switzerland and has 16.7 million followers on Instagram and 12m on Tiktok.

But it is unlikely that she will largely appear on Wednesday if the hosts will start their campaign in Basel with a collision against Norway.

She was initially beaten for the Swiss team, but only received a last-minute call from Pia Sundhage.

The 26-year-old was given a place in the team after FC Koln midfielder Alena Bienz withdrew with an ankle injury.

Responding to her call, Lehmann wrote on Instagram: 'I couldn't be happier to represent my country at the euros. I am so grateful for the chance. Let us make Switzerland proud and show how football is growing. '

Lehmann is an attacker, but was deployed in the past in the past while struggling to break into the starting setup.

But although it is unlikely that she will receive longer minutes during the tournament, it stays at the center of attention.

Her new spectacled look comes days after she had concluded a new brand agreement with a swimwear company Tesis.

Lehmann unveiled news about the collaboration with an Instagram post of hers that wore a red bikini from Tesis.

In the meantime, the new link for Lehmann came after she was part of a Swiss outfit that lost 7-1 to less than 15 male side FC Luzerne in a warm-up competition for the euros.

Images of the competition circulated on social media and reportedly received 70,000 views on Tiktok before they were removed.

Switzerland played a second string team, with Baas Sundhage Fielding 26 players.

Spokesperson Sven Micosse of the Swiss Football Association Media defended the result after the game and gave the defeat further context.

She told the Swiss outlet Blick: 'It is not unusual in women's football to compete against junior teams.

'The goal: bring a certain competitive element. The focus during this phase of preparation is on the physical aspect.

Switzerland will be confronted with Norway on Wednesday in their opening group competition and hope to improve their show at the previous euros, where they have picked up only one point in three games.

They will also take on Finland and Iceland in Group A.

The involvement of Lehmann in the euros will reportedly only a few months after her and Douglas Luiz has called time about their relationship.

The duo began to date for the first time in 2021, before they separated a year later and emerged again at the beginning of 2024.

Since then, the couple had had a close relationship last year and both relocated to the Italian Giants Juventus sealed during the summer window.

Luiz came from Aston Villa for £ 42.4 million who emerged as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.

Lehmann followed only seven days later, also moved from Villa and was contracted until 2027.

The 26-year-old, whose movement next to Luiz was the first 'couple transfer' of that kind, saw her campaign disturbed by fitness issues.
