BUKAYO SAKA was spotted on crutches after going off injured during Arsenal's 5-1 win over Crystal Palace.
Boss Mikel Arteta admitted “it's not good news” after Saka limped off midway through the first half of his side's dominant win.
The winger started Saturday's match at Selhurst Park and helped his side take the lead with a sixth-minute assist for Gabriel Jesus.
But Saka stopped after twenty minutes and held his leg.
The England star had tried to whip in a cross from the right wing with Arsenal leading 2-1.
And he immediately fell to the ground with a pained expression on his face.
Medics rushed to Saka's side as he struggled to move.
He eventually left the field for treatment.
But Saka couldn't recover from the blow.
And he needed help as he limped along the sideline before entering the tunnel.
Saka was eventually replaced by Belgian star Leandro Trossard.
But after the match ended he was seen leaving Selhurst Park on crutches in what could be a major blow for boss Arteta.
The Spaniard said afterwards: “Saka felt something in his hamstring.
“He couldn't go any further. He needs to be judged. We are quite concerned.
“I don't know the severity, but he had to come off.
“It's not good news. We'll have to assess him and wait and see.”
It now remains to be seen how serious his setback is, with Arsenal facing Ipswich, Brentford and Brighton over the festive period.
After a short break, they will then have a tough time against Manchester United, Tottenham and Aston Villa.
And fans reacted with dismay at the thought of a Saka-less spell.
One said: “Worst nightmare: Saka's injury will cost us the league.”
Another stated: “I hope Saka is doing well, it doesn't look good.”
One commented: “It was always coming, we overplayed him and burned him out.”
Another added: “Without Saka we're screwed, let's hope it's not an injury that will keep him out for weeks.”
