Worrying moment man sprints across pitch towards Erling Haaland before Premier League cult hero acts as human shield

This is the horror moment that a fan that is being charged for Erling Haaland – only to be stopped by a Premier League cult hero.

The Star of Manchester City was back among the goals last night when Norway beat Moldova 5-0 in their qualifying opener of World Cup.

But their victory was overshadowed by shocking scenes in the second half after Haaland was immersed on the clock for 78 minutes.

The striker looked at the rest of the game from the Dugout when a pitch -faller stormed on the field.

He sprinted to the Dugout of Norway while he seemed to reach in his pocket.

Haaland was closest to the man on the final chair when he was tackled by wide hanging country.

The former Defender-Noorway assistant coach took the pitch-Iinringer and pushed him away.

Security then intervened and wore the man, who was still wriggling free.

Fans called the incident “frightening” and “scary”.

Hangeland spent seven seasons in Fulham and played 270 times for the club between 2008 and 2014.

He has hero status in Craven Cottage and was part of the team that made the Europa League final two years after his enchantment at the club.

He also had a short spell in Crystal Palace before he retired in 2016.

Norway are the next in action against Israel on Tuesday evening.
